Gran Canaria Desktop Summit: GUADEC + Akademy 2009

Who organizes the event?

GCDS'09 is a special opportunity for the KDE and GNOME communities who are for the first time co-locating GUADEC and Akademy, their annual conferences, enabling shared activities and collaborative sessions while retaining the unique and independent nature the events have enjoyed in previous years. With the added benefit of a local (Spanish) programme. Alfredo Kraus AuditoriumGNOME and KDE along with the Cabildo of Gran Canaria (local government), are the main organizers. Other local organizers are included on the Organizers section.

What about the programme? Can I attend?

Find out about the activities planned in the Schedule section. To attend you must register in advance, but there is no charge for attending. Please read them carefully before registering. This year we have the use of a travel agency, if you wish. Please follow the procedures described in the Registration / Travel Agency subsection to find out the instructions. Please read them carefully before registering.

Gran Canaria has an international airport (code LPA). Please read carefully the Transportation subsection.
