Glitter is a user interface toolkit for Python built on top of technologies such as clutter, cairo and gstreamer. Glitter offers breathtaking interfaces, gorgeous effects, resolution independence and a familiar, simple GObject API similar to GTK.

Glitter also breaks away from the status quo of application interface design by adopting new paradigms that focus on ergonomics, visual subtlety and target device, like mobile, desktop or that nice flatscreen tv.

This presentation on Glitter will offer an overview of its features, architecture, a bunch of demo applications, a peak at some fresh human interface guidelines and overall juice for developers. More on www.glitter-toolkit.com.

Jan spends his time writing open source software and doing things sane people do, like drawing, practicing sports and getting bored at university lectures. Diggs beer.
