Pitivi is a video editor using GTK+, GStreamer. All low level processing is done inside GStreamer, written in C, while the high level user interface logic of the application is done using Python. This talk covers the current status and development of the Pitivi Video Editor. The talk will highlight the current feature set of Pitivi and the roadmap set by the development team for going forward. The talk should both give an introduction to how one can develop editing applications for GNOME and also let new people interested get involved with the Pitivi effort.
